Young People

Pre-booking is not needed for any of the Spectrum sessions but if your child is attending for the first time there are some safeguarding forms to complete.

On Sundays

We have four groups for different age ranges on Sunday mornings so that our teenagers and children can receive church in a way tailored to their age and ability;

  • Glo-worms (creche and pre-school)

  • Sunbeams (reception - school year 3)

  • Comets (school years 4 - 7)

  • Supernova (school years 8 - 13)

Midweek Groups

We run a  very popular Carer & Toddler group for babies and pre-schoolers  called Bulrushes  every Friday morning during school term time.   There is usually a waiting list for this group so please email the Bulrushes Team directly and they will advise you whether there is a space free for you.

Messy Church

This is our children-focused service held on selected Sundays at 2.30pm for primary school aged children. It’s a chance to get Messy! Adults are catered for with refreshments whilst children are free to engage in lots of arts and crafts, games, bible stories and dancing to lively child-friendly worship songs.

If your children are restless they will love Messy Church! This is a great way for you and your children to meet other families and make new friends, all whilst learning about Jesus!

Our next Messy Church will be on Sunday 8th December.  For up to date information follow us on facebook.   https://www.facebook.com/christchurchswanley/

All Age & Family Sunday's

Along with Messy Church we regularly run a Family Service every month where our children and young adults are encouraged to take part, or if they prefer, make and do with the craft activities which are generally included in the service.  These special services are held on the first Sunday of the month with a start time of 10.30am.

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
