Services Taking Place During December

Sunday 1st December 

10.30am  Advent Carol Service and children's Nativity

Join us for a lively celebration which includes a Children's Nativity.   

All children are invited to dress up and take part in the Nativity.

There will also be games and crafts for the children and an interactive talk for everyone.

After the service we will have refreshments and cakes.

 

5.00pm  Churches Together Advent Service

A celebration for the start of Advent.   Join us along with people from churches throughout Swanley and District for our first service in Advent.


Sunday 8th December

10.30am  Morning Communion Service with Spectrum Sunday School

A wonderful service with guest speaker Reverend Keith Foot.

 

2.30pm  Christmas Messy Church

This is a children-focused event  for primary school aged children and their parents/carers. It’s a chance to get Messy! Adults are catered for with refreshments whilst children are free to engage in lots of Christmas arts and crafts, games, Christmas bible stories and dancing to lively action songs.

If your children are restless they will love Messy Church! It's also a great way for you and your children to meet other families and make new friends, all whilst learning about the real story of Christmas!


Sunday 15th December

10.30am Morning Worship

A time of worship with our guest speaker Steve Marsh.

 

6.00pm  Traditional Christmas Carols by Candlelight Service

Our church is lit by candlelight during this beautiful service of traditional Christmas Carols interspersed with readings of the Nativity. 

During the service we usually take a collection for charities involved in helping the homeless and those who are struggling.

Refreshments and cakes/mincepies are usually served after the service.


Sunday 22nd December

10.30am  Morning Communion

A time of worshp and Holy Communion with our guest speaker Reverend Hans Stein.


Christmas Eve

5.00pm  Families Carol Service

This service is open to all ages and is a wonderful service for those with young children.  A beautiful way to hear about Christmas in a way for all to understand and participate.

Refreshments, soft drinks and cakes are usually served after the service.

 

11.00pm  Late Carol Service

A candlelit service of traditional carols interspersed with readings which takes you through to Christmas Day.

A time for Holy Communion will be included in this service.

 

Christmas Day

10.30am  Celebration of Christmas

A beautiful way to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.  This service is suitable for all ages and includes a time of Holy Communion. 


29th December

10.30am Morning Worship Service

Our final worship service for 2024.
